Schedule: Our event starts at 11 p.m and during the first two hours you have the chance to taste local food from our rich buffet. Starting with 1 p.m we will go for a walk through the lovely streets of the village. Transilvanian Brunch: Every last Saturday of the month we cook with the neighborhood (vecinatate) and celebrate the local culture. Come and join us and discover small, forgotten villages in the Transylvanian Highlands.

Hoghilag Village

Hoghilag Village is located at 80 km from Sibiu, and 14 km from Sighisoara, surrounded by small hills and the River Tarnava Mare. Here is the place where the saxons begun to cultivate for the first time in our country the gladioli. In 2016 took place for the first time the “Gladioli’s Night” Festival, in the garden of the Fortified Church. The event takes place in the garden of the Evangelical Church from Valchid. The location is situated between Medias and Sighisoara, and it belongs of Hoghilag village and access is made directly from DN14.
